A Fun Run For the Family and 5K/10K For the Serious Runner
Running through Alpharetta isn't something you get to do every day! The mayor of Alpharetta,
Arthur Letchas, leads the way in a car driven by an Alpharetta Rotarian. That's worth seeing right there!
Join the tradition and participate in the Mayor’s Challenge 10k, 5k and 1 mile Fun Run! The race is
co-sponsored by the Alpharetta Rotary Club and the City of Alpharetta. The 10k is a Peachtree qualifier.
Those who prefer not to run can register for the 1 mile Fun Run/Walk! It’s all great fun, good for you,
and goes to support the community.
Please visit www.Active.com, where you can pre-register for the race.
Race starts early: At 6:15 a.m. we begin Registration, 8:30 AM for the Fun Run/Walk, and 7:15 AM for
the 5K/10K on May 15 (Saturday), at Wills Park swimming pool, near the corner of Wills Rd. and Old Milton Rd.
in Alpharetta (from GA 400, go west on Old Milton, cross over Hwy. 9, the park is on your left). Get there
in plenty of time to get registered, get your number, and get stretched out properly so you can qualify for
the Peachtree (this race is a Peachtree qualifier).
